Before joining the military, April worked in elder care, where she discovered a genuine love for caring for older adults.
April Previti is a U.S. Navy veteran, ISSA-certified personal trainer, and the founder of Epic Veteran Mobility — and her path to this work began long before she ever put on a uniform.
During her six years in the Navy as a Logistics Specialist, she also served as her command's Fitness Leader, a collateral duty that let her combine military discipline with a passion for fitness she's cultivated for over a decade.
While coaching clients, April noticed a persistent challenge: veterans who wanted to stay active but faced real barriers, from transportation to mobility limitations. She kept thinking, why not bring the training to them instead? That question became Epic Veteran Mobility. April is currently completing her ISSA Senior Fitness certification. As a service-disabled veteran herself, she offers a rare mix of lived empathy and specialized training, understanding the resilience required on tough days and building every session around meeting clients exactly where they are, physically and mentally.
April and her husband, also a Navy veteran, chose Murfreesboro after his retirement for its closeness to family, easy reach of Nashville, and everything Tennessee had to offer. She's a mom of four, and when she's not training clients you'll find her out on a trail, watching her kids grow, or relaxing at home with their German Shepherd.
Private-pay, cash-based sessions. No insurance hassles, no referrals required. Just you and April getting to work.
"Having April as our trainer not only made it more comfortable just being in the gym, but pushed us to our potential. I didn't know the mobility or strength I was capable of until training with her."
"Don't let her cuteness fool you. Drill sergeant April has the ability to mold you into the greatness she sees in you."
"April makes working out fun but challenging! She answers all your questions and shows you alternative ways to do the exercise. I highly recommend her as your next fitness trainer."
